Things around our house.

During the summer we had a bunch of Lilac and Lavender in our front yard. My roommates would pick some and put in the the vases and baskets we had around the house and the whole house would smell pretty. Now they are all dried out but still look really pretty.

This is in the corner of one of our sitting rooms. We use the Aloe for our boo boos.

This is the top of Liia's bookshelf.

Oden relaxing.

Some chairs we re-upholstered

In our kitchen. A place for tea and crumpets.

A Few Things I like...

I went on a couple thrift store shopping sprees last week. These are a few things I fell in love with and for an incredibly awesome price. I'm so thrifty!

Fun Necklaces
These two necklaces are super cute and I found them for 50% off so both only cost me 8 bucks!

Cozy Sweater
This is a 100% wool sweater. It's super thick and warm for the freezing Colorado weather I have to get used to. Plus I love the fancy hook buttons. 16 buckaroos!

Meow
I couldn't believe I found these. They fit me perfect and make me look way cooler than I really am. ;) 8 bucks.

McCoy For Mom
My mom has this really old cookie jar at home. She told me once it was her Great Grandmother's and that it was a McCoy. She said they are fancy and taught me how to spot them. I thought this butter dish looking thing (I don't know what it is exactly) was cute when I saw it on my thrift store adventure. When I looked on the bottom of it, it was a McCoy! So this will be my mom's Xmas gift.
$14 (I'm thrifty, not cheap!)
